Daniel Kawczynski

Daniel Kawczynski is the esteemed Chairman of the Anglo‑Libyan Business Association, bringing a distinguished blend of political insight and international trade expertise. As a former Conservative MP (2005–2024) with a particular focus on UK–MENA relations, Daniel established the House of Commons Libya Friendship Group, led parliamentary delegations to Tripoli, and championed key foreign affairs initiatives. Drawing on his 20 years of diplomatic experience, he now guides ALBA in promoting bilateral commerce, sustainable investment, and strategic dialogue. Inspired by his lifelong connection to Libya—rooted in family history and reinforced through authoring books and advising on international diplomacy—he is committed to unlocking opportunities and building trust between British and Libyan businesses.
